Battle with the Storm in Fortnite was discontinued – fans expect the it to be made free

Fortnite’s cooperative mode “Fight with the Storm” (in the English version – Save the World), the P-1000 skin and all sets of V-bucks were withdrawn from sale, said FireMonkey datamineer. This happened after the black hole event, which ended the tenth season of the “Royal Battle”. Fans of the game suggested that the changes in the store are associated with the transition of the “Battle with the Storm” mode to a free distribution model.

The game developers did not comment on user guesses. Save the World is really locked in the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store. It’s impossible to check the availability of goods on a PC – the Fortnite store stopped working during the “End” event. As part of the event, the developers deleted all the records from the official Fortnite account, and made the site and store inaccessible – when clicking on the links, users are sent to the broadcast with a black hole.

Storm Battle is the first Fortnite mode that was released before the Battle Royale. In it, users can independently or in the company of friends fight monsters and defeat bosses. The story campaign in this mode is not completed – in March, the developers included a new chapter in it, which for the first time hinted that the events of the two modes occur in one game universe.
