Show All That Is Hidden: Epic Games Has Not Released Patches For Fortnite Chapter Two

Fortnite fans are discussing the lack of an official patch for the first season of chapter two, which kicked off October 15th. Previously, Epic Games always immediately published detailed information about all the changes and new games, whether it’s the chance of a drop of items or the damage of various types of weapons.

The community suggested that Epic Games deliberately hid all the details about the patch so that users could learn the game in practice and learn something new about it on their own. A modified map design also hints at this approach of developers – now locations and individual biomes remain hidden until the player visits them.

On the first day after the release of the second chapter, an unofficial patchout appeared. On the company’s website, in the patch section for Fortnite, only a short phrase is still indicated: “Land and explore the new island.” Many fans of the game are sure that with the start of the new competitive season Epic Games will return to the practice of detailed patchnouts for Fortnite. So far, developers only correct minor bugs and talk about plans to increase FPS on a PC.

On October 15, Fortnite kicked off the first season of Chapter Two — restarting the original “battle royale” from Epic Games. In it, the developers introduced a new map, code-named Apollo, and also added some interesting mechanics, including fishing and water transport. You can read more about this here.
